Appreciation

Last night was the Launch Event for my debut memoir, Deep Dark Blue. And I just want to express my deepest appreciation for those who came to share it with me, for those who have purchased a book and send me photos of them getting it in the mail, send me texts to say what chapter they are on, send me virtual hugs to say that they support me. What an incredible feeling of over-the-moon joyfulness, to bask in the sharing of what it means to be human, and put something out into the world…

I just want to take a moment right now to express my enormous appreciation for everyone that has been a part of my life, my heart, up until this very moment. All of those who have come into my life, and gone out of my life. All of those who have come into my life, and stayed to take this part of the journey with me. All of those that I will meet, henceforth, along the way. Thank you.

Thank you for loving me. Thank you for letting me love you. Thank you for trusting me with your heart, your mind, your soul. Thank you for teaching me—even with your departure from my life. Thank you for being my soft place to fall. Thank you for allowing me to be yours. Thank you for accepting me for all of who I am. And thank you to those who didn’t, for, you deepened my desire to love and accept myself.

Thank you to the raw and real you, the inner being intrinsically within you, for communicating from the place at which we are both one. Thank you for sharing this human experience we call life. Thank you for truly educating, edifying, expanding, evolving my soul. I luv you. I luv me, so that I can truly luv you.
